You will be part of Sea’s HQ Finance department, which plays an integral role in supporting the accounting and finance needs of our three core businesses (Garena, Shopee, Monee) and across our diverse regional market presence. Within the department, the Business Assurance function is responsible for overseeing key business processes that impact internal controls over financial reporting and IT systems, leading risk management and process improvement initiatives, and providing advisory support on SOX compliance and audit-related matters. You will be supporting audit and controls testing across various markets, along with other related ad-hoc tasks.
 

As an intern with the Business Assurance team, you will actively engage in a variety of impactful tasks including, but not limited to:

• Support the team in SOX Audit testing across Sea HQ and our global markets, and gain valuable insights to the SOX Compliance Program
• Assist the team in group-wide controls testing, and deepen your appreciation for a robust internal control system
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders when required, and strengthen your communication and collaboration skills
• Assist in other ad-hoc tasks or finance/compliance-related projects, and broaden your skill sets and perspectives

• Currently in the sophomore year of undergraduate studies or beyond, majoring in Accountancy or related field
• Demonstrate strong analytical and logical thinking skills, and approaches tasks with a proactive and optimistic mindset
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and encompasses the ability to work independently while embracing new challenges 
• Possess strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Able to commit a minimum 3 months of full-time internship from May to Aug 2026 and/or 6 months of full-time internship from Jun to Dec 2026
