About Team

You will be part of Sea’s HQ Finance department, which plays an integral role in supporting the accounting and finance needs of our three core businesses (Garena, Shopee, Monee) and across our diverse regional market presence. Within the department, the Regional Business Finance function is responsible for managing business-level financials, including reporting, analysis, budgeting, and business partnering. With a reporting focus, you will be responsible for financial and management reporting, data analysis, and the preparation of reports for various stakeholders, while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all reporting data. Besides the routine work, you would also be expected to participate in special projects, which may involve new investigation work or improvement of existing processes, requiring both problem solving skills and the ability to work with new and unexplored territory.

Job Description

Reporting and Closing Requirements

  • Produce, review, and analyze periodic financial and management reports, providing insights on business trends and performance
  • Address management queries on financial and business information
  • Prepare executive-level materials for presentations and quarterly business reviews
  • Develop and refine analytical methods, dashboards, and reporting templates to improve performance visibility
  • Support stakeholders across functions and ensure financial data integrity

Forecast Processes

  • Analyze P&L forecasts and provide insights to Controllers, Directors, and the CFO
  • Review forecast trends, raise objective questions, and recommend actions to improve forecast accuracy
  • Enhance financial models and forecasting/budgeting processes to improve efficiency and capture evolving business dynamics
  • Upload forecast data into systems and integrate it into financial reports, providing management with trend analysis, insights, and adjustment recommendations

Others

  • Support and/or participate in special projects with opportunities to develop project leadership skills
  • Seek continuous process improvement by finding opportunities to improve or automate processes or reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting/ related discipline or other related professional qualification in accounting, such as Chartered Accountant and ACCA
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant full-time working experience in Finance related roles
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience would be a plus
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Effective collaborator across finance, IT, and business functions
  • Skilled in data analytics and problem-solving with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of commitment to meeting timelines
  • Clear and concise communicator, both written and verbal
  • Hands-on team player who possesses a can-do attitude and is able to handle ambiguity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel  
  • SQL and PowerBI knowledge will be an advantage
