IMDA-Sea Company-Led Training

Shopee has been IMDA's TeSA Company-Led Training partner since 2019 and is ready to hire and train more fresh graduates and mid-career professionals. Garena and Monee will also be offering trainee positions under the CLT program. Applications are open all year round.

We want to ensure that our team members are a good fit for the role and our culture. Trainees will be assessed during the training period, based on their performance and organisational fit.

Trainees will receive a monthly salary while undergoing training, providing them the assurance of being employed in a paid role while receiving training in in-demand tech skills and gaining valuable on-the-job experience. Salaries for respective roles will commensurate based on scope, responsibilities and experience as required by the hiring company.

All trainees will be assigned a mentor/project advisor within the same department, who will support their journey and to help them improve their knowledge and skills. Through the course of training provided, trainees will acquire foundational and specialist skills, occupational knowledge as well as receive hands-on experience in project management.

Singaporeans who possess the relevant qualifications are welcome to apply. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in an interview process and successful applicants will be selected based on their qualifications and fit. Applicants with backgrounds in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics are welcome to apply. This includes fresh graduates and those without prior tech experience.

Trainees will undergo six months of on-the-job and instructor-led, online structured training, in areas such as Product Management, Software Engineering, Data Analytics and User Experience Design.

Trainees will be equipped for success in the e-commerce and tech industry, ready to take on roles such as Data/Business Analysts, Product Managers, Software Engineers and UI/UX Designers. Suitable trainees who complete the training may be offered full-time employment by Shopee, Monee or Garena (as applicable) - subject to performance, organisational and culture fit, and headcount availability for specific roles.
